Just Broken Cookies — Photography & Other Stories. Valentina’s original bridge portrait in a colour square collage.

VISUAL

Capturing the whole picture behind the picture

Candlelight glows through a glass bottle against a blue background.

Our Philosophy

The bottle looks a bit dirty. But that’s what makes this image meaningful. It’s probably a fingerprint left by the hand of one of the two people having dinner. There are stains of limescale also. The water is hard. It’s London.
The photo is imperfect, wrong for some.
To us, it’s the opposite.
Perfectly Real, Beautiful.
With a story.

The right match

Dedicated to you.

Our work is to mould an artist’s skill around your vision. Expert eyes can enhance an already beautiful moment, while preserving the emotions that made it yours.

A weathered ladder standing against the open blue sea — A way into blue

A long human shadow on wet sand — More shadow than self

A bright stone doorway opening through deep shadow — The light beyond

Two people passing along a curving sunlit street — Following the light

An orange door beyond a dark arched passage — Colour at the far end

The people we trust

Different story,
different eye.

Every story has different pieces, colours, feelings. It needs different eyes, media, style. JBC finds them for you.

Why JustBrokenCookies

Nothing worth keeping
should be left behind.

JustBrokenCookies began with a camera, a love of stories and the broken biscuits at the bottom of the bag.

Today, we find the photographer or filmmaker who can see what your story means, not only how it looks.
